Thomas Schärer is Head of Audit Public Administrations Northwestern Switzerland and based in Aarau. His team and he perform audits of cities and municipalities in the cantons of Aargau, Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt. In addition to audits of municipal accounts, the handling of consulting mandates in the financial area completes his field of activity. Thomas Schärer has been working for BDO since 2009. He is a certified public accountant and fiduciary with a federal certificate.
