Canadian Pat Kramer will take over as Global CEO at BDO on November 1, 2022. He succeeds Keith Farlinger, who led BDO's international network for five years.
During his tenure, Keith Farlinger succeeded in uniting and strengthening BDO as a global organization. To this end, he relied on a strong management strategy and clear risk management, as well as investments in quality assurance.
In his new role as Global CEO, Pat Kramer will continue these initiatives and focus on an open culture and digital transformation. The new Global CEO sees the greatest challenges in the dynamics of change and the shortage of skilled workers. With more than 30 years of industry experience and as BDO's long-standing CEO in Canada, he brings a wealth of experience to actively address these challenges with BDO.
In fiscal year 2021, global sales increased by more than ten percent to 11.8 billion US dollars. Today, the BDO network is represented in 164 countries with over 1,700 offices and more than 95,000 employees. The national partner companies are independently operating companies. However, they share the same values and are subject to the same quality standards and controls. Customers can thus also receive uniform and uncomplicated international support according to the familiar BDO standards.
