Gebrüder Meier AG acquires UIKER Antriebstechnik AG.

The BDO team headed by Matthias Büeler advised Gebrüder Meier AG on the acquisition of UIKER Antriebstechnik AG as M&A and financial due diligence advisor. 

Gebrüder Meier AG, founded in 1918, is a leading provider of maintenance, service and retrofit
of generators, motors, gearboxes as well as automation and emergency power solutions. The merger with UIKER Antriebstechnik AG, one of the largest trading companies in the field of drive technology in Switzerland, will enable the two companies to further expand their strengths in drive technology on the Swiss market through joint activities. The two companies, with a combined workforce of around 300, serve Swiss industry with a wide range of technical products and services in the fields of energy and drive technology.
